About the Cover
After the hurricanes in 2017 in the U.S. Caribbean, it was essential to rebuild, strengthen, and sustain essential environmental health services and systems. This month鈥檚 cover article, 鈥淩ebuilding Caribbean 精东传媒 Health Post-Crisis Programs: A Preliminary Study for Virtual Mentorship,鈥 highlights the online mentorship program for newly hired and existing environmental health staff and leadership in Caribbean health departments that was developed by the 精东传媒 in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The mentorship program provides a national mentoring framework that can enhance the existing workforce and establish a pipeline for a strong future workforce.
